We're very honoured to have been asked by the organisers of the awesome Flux screening series if they could include our Promo for Black Black Hills in their next screening night at the Hammer Museum in L.A. on the 15th September.
"Evenings feature film screening, special guest presentations and performances followed by after parties in the Hammer's courtyard. Past guests have included Michel Gondry, OK Go, Andreas Nilsson, Kyle Cooper, Nacho Vigalondo, Shepard Fairey, Encyclopedia Pictura, Spank Rock, Martin de Thurah, Keith Schofield among many others..."
It sounds like it's going to be a great night, so if your in L.A. on Thursday, check it out!
Show & Tell finally hits the small screen

A long time ago (a whole year ago in fact) we were asked by a lovely bunch of people over at Avalon Television to provide the Title Sequence for Chris Addison's new show on E4. And as we love working with the aforementioned people so much and as Mr. Addison is indeed a very talented and amusing fellow we gladly accepted.
Now it is with great pleasure that we can announce that our work for the show will finally see the light of day later this week! Unfortunately, for obvious reasons, we can't post up the Title Sequence yet until it's been on air, however you can see the trailer for the show here and if you tune into E4 this Thursday at 10:35pm you'll be able to watch it! Keep checking Homepage of our site for updates on the Title Sequence.

Water Calculator - Energy Saving Trust

Working with SapientNitro, we recently completed an exciting interactive animation for the Energy Saving Trust. It enables users to calculate their water usage via a simple interactive model of a home. Once the data has been keyed in, the water calculator informs the user of how to cut down on water usage and CO2 emissions.
BBC news have reported on the innovative calculator in an article on their website, commenting that it can help people to "save water and energy, as well as cutting their carbon footprint".

Here's a bit of info on RSSF:
'Held in London, every July, the event attracts short format work from across the world and is recognised as one of the United Kingdom’s foremost short format champions. Maintaining a significant bridge between the independent and commercial film making communities, the festival annually attracts over 1200 entries from professionals and newcomers alike, with 140 (approx) films selected for competition. Countries entering for RSSF 2010 so far include Japan, Luxembourg, France, China, Estonia, Argentina, Spain, Mexico, Australia, Iceland, Peru, Germany, Ireland, Slovenia, The Netherlands, UK and the USA.' We've just completed a new Cinema and TV spot for Virgin Media for the annual Virgin Media Shorts competition. It's a cinematic and atmospheric piece based around their distinctive VMS "shards" - the intention was to create something that was not only an Advert for the festival but also an abstract and inspiring piece - cinematic enough to be a stand alone film and potentially worthy of entry into the festival itself.
